I Couldn't Wait to See Him
Looking forard to seeing someone is a common feeling we all have experienced. But what if that person you are looking foward to seeing is dead. Sound strange? Perhaps. Let me explain.
The statement in the title, "I couldn't wait to see him" was uttered by an 85 year old woman seeing her husband at the funeral home. Most of us don't think about seeing our mate in a casket as something to look forward to. But perhaps being married for 65 years and seeing them everday for all those years makes you appreciate your mate in a different way. Seeing them at all (dead or alive) brings some comfort, some sense that things expected to happen, do happen, and that provides one with some sense of being normal. What do you think about that? I'm listening. Peace
