I don't like politics at all, but I liked smiling Tim Russert. When he would come on the news, I would say to my wife, "Well, here is smiling Tim again." Tim didn't appear to smile that much but one had to like his intensity and intense questioning approach.

My dad always was discussing politics and involved in local elections, so much so, that I have always hated politics. I vote, but I seldom watch or discuss.

I rate most politicians lower than most celebrities, and I see celebrities as nearly worthless people in our society, whom we have given too much influence.

I feel sorry for Tim's father and Luke his son--there will be no happy father's day for them.

Perhaps smiling Tim is talking with all the politicians that have gone on to their reward?
